Complex machining
The use of modern machining centers allows for simultaneous milling and turning of a part in a single setup. By utilizing live tooling along with Y and B axes, the machine can perform turning operations and then, without stopping the process, precisely drill, tap, or mill complex shapes on the lateral and frontal surfaces of the component.
