CNC milling of polycarbonate is a process that requires extensive experience due to the material's specific properties—exceptional impact strength combined with sensitivity to overheating. As an amorphous plastic, polycarbonate can crack or cloud during machining; therefore, we apply precisely selected cutting parameters and specialized tools with very sharp edges to minimize internal stresses within the component.
